POLE VAULTER -- This sporting event takes talent and this unidentified pole vaulter is showing that he possesses that talent. He has successfully thrust his body up and over the bar and is about to complete his vault by releasing and casting the pole aside.
SKYDIVERS -- At it's peak, Parsons College offered about any type of social activity you could imagine. The most diverse collection of activities one could imagine was available, including the sport of skydiving.
BARHYDT STAINED GLASS -- Colorful view of the beautiful stained glass window panels that created the brilliant atmosphere of the old Barhydt Chapel. The window panels have been salvaged and preserved. They are being installed and featured in the new Fairfield Arts & Convention Center.
STUDENT CENTER -- A view of the lovely lush grounds of the Parsons College campus, looking east toward the James M. Camp Student Center.
STUDY GROUP OR PICNIC? -- What was initially thought to be a study group, would appear to be more accurately described as an impromptu gathering of mid-day picnickers leisurely sprawling out while taking a break under the large shade trees, just off old Carter Drive.
TOWN SQUARE -- A busy day on the bench at the Town Square in the center of town. While the two congenial Parsons College couples in the center appears to be enjoying themselves, one unidentified student (at left) appears to be quite bored, while the other (at right), seemingly, looks to be quite envious.
TRAIN STATION -- Each and every August, Fairfield and Parsons College greeted train loads of newly arriving freshmen and returning students, welcoming them with open arms at the quaint little train station just north of town.
